Situated on nearly 30 pristine acres adjacent to Highway 27 in northwest Marion County, our goal is to develop The Equine Performance Innovative Center (EPIC) into the finest and most complete conditioning and equine rehabilitation facility in the nation. EPIC has quickly been recognized by horsemen and women from all disciplines as the finest, most comprehensive facility of its kind.
EPIC has numerous success stories from all facets of the equine world. We at Equine Performance Innovative Center deliver a Rejuvenated Horse through Proven & Innovative Rehabilitation as well as conditioning techniques. Through open & honest Communication we can help any horse in any situation. We pride ourself on maintaining an excellent communication with our patients, veterinarians, owners and trainers which is the key to our success.
Performance Equine Veterinary Services is proud to serve the Ocala, Summerfield, and surrounding areas for everything horse related.
Performance Equine Veterinary Services is an equine exclusive veterinary practice dedicated to the comfort of your horse. We focus on diagnosing and treating your horse with the most modern and up to date technology and equipment. There are many reasons for your horse not to be performing at its best. We are here to help you find out whether the problem is due to musculoskeletal disorders (lameness), respiratory or even systemic problems. Performance Equine has vast experience with race horses, sport horses and gaited horses.
Here at PEVS we are all about our clients and their horses. For us, a healthy, comfortable horse and a satisfied client are the top priority. We achieve that goal by educating our clients and keeping an excellent veterinary-client-patient-relationship.
WHY OCALA?
Ocala's love and admiration of horse and horse farms goes back at least 80 years. Ocala has been the breeding ground for Kentucky Derby winners, including one Triple Crown winner in 1978. Marion County is also home to Horses in the Sun, one of the largest horse shows in the U.S. Ocala is home to more than 35,000 thoroughbreds. To top it off, Ocala will soon be the home of the World Equestrian Center, a 4,000+ acre equestrian complex. It's no surprise why Ocala has been dubbed the Horse Capital of the World.

My absolute favorite thing about working at EPIC is that I enjoy working with every single one of my coworkers. The interview process is very detailed and designed to accept those who are as dedicated as the rest of us to helping rehab and treat horses. I actually can’t say enough nice things about the staff and clients (and patients). The staff is competent, caring, fun, dedicated, interested in their jobs, and a joy to be around. The clients care about their animals and there is much collaboration and synergism in the goal of getting injured or sick animals well and happy and getting healthy animals performing even better in whatever discipline the goals are located. EPIC has more therapies and tools in one place than I have ever seen in my life. This is a world-renowned place and now I know why!
